FOSROC is one of the leading construction chemical and flooring system manufacturers used by Floortek across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. When they needed their own new Flextool Tech Hub fitted out — a dedicated training, testing, and R&D facility for equipment and materials — they engaged Floortek as a trusted installer to deliver the floor.

The Flextool Tech Hub is a working research and demonstration environment where FOSROC’s team tests and evaluates their own products and application equipment. The floor needed to perform under the same conditions the products are designed for — heavy foot traffic, equipment loads, and ongoing product testing — while demonstrating the quality standard expected of an accredited installer.

Scope of Works

• Polyurethane cement floor system installed throughout the Tech Hub facility
• Surface preparation to correct CSP prior to installation
• Full PU cement system — primer, screed, and topcoat — applied to manufacturer specification
• Cove details formed at wall junctions to food-safe and hygienic standards
