Floortek delivered a complete multi-system flooring package across two distinct areas of the new school development at Cabra Dominican College, working for principal contractor Kennett.

Tech Studies Areas — Polished Concrete

Approximately 600m² of polished concrete was installed throughout the tech studies wing. The system provides a durable, low-maintenance finish suited to the high-traffic demands of a working technical studies environment.

Gymnasium & Changerooms — Waterproofing & Epoxy Flake

The wet area package covered approximately 200m² across the gymnasium and changeroom facilities. Works were completed in sequence to ensure full integration between the waterproofing and finished floor layers:

• Waterproof membrane to set-down areas
• Epoxy mortar screed to falls over waterproofing
• Epoxy mortar coving and cove skirting
• Epoxy flake flooring system to final finish

The completed systems deliver a watertight, hygienic, and visually consistent result suited to the demands of a school gymnasium and changeroom environment.
